Dry morning but showers later this afternoon

Largely settled weather continues for the rest of the week, with just occasional showers or outbreaks of light rain. That's according to the latest bulletin from the national weather forecaster.
Largely dry this morning with a mix of sunny spells and well scattered showers, mainly in the northwest. Showers will become more frequent, spreading southeastwards across the country this afternoon. Becoming dry and bright for most this evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees with a light to moderate northwesterly breeze, fresher at times near northeastern coasts.
Becoming mostly dry tonight as isolated showers clear with long clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in a light northwest or variable breeze.
A mainly dry day tomorrow with sunny spells, increasing throughout the morning. Cloud will build from the west through the afternoon before outbreaks of rain and drizzle develop near Atlantic coasts later in the evening. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees with light to moderate northwest winds, gradually backing southwest through the day.
Cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle moving eastwards through Thursday night. Temperatures will not fall below 13 to 16 degrees with a light to moderate westerly wind.
Rather cloudy Friday morning with patchy rain and drizzle clearing eastwards. Sunny spells and well scattered showers will follow from the west. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in a light to moderate westerly wind.
Some further showers will move into the west and northwest overnight on Friday but drier elsewhere with long clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees in light west to southwest breeze.
Sunny spells and scattered showers on Saturday morning before better sunshine develops through the afternoon as the showers become isolated. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 or 20 degrees in a light to moderate westerly wind.
Becoming dry and clear early on Saturday night as showers die out. Later in the night further showers will spread into the northwest. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in light westerly breeze.
Current indications suggest showers or spells of rain will spread southeastwards across the country Sunday with sunny spells in between. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in a light to moderate northwest wind.
