Kathleen Kiernan (née Smith) late of Finglas and Cavan, August 10th peacefully at the Mater Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Patrick and loving and devoted mam to Martina, Sinéad, Róisín and Padraig.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters and son, grandchildren Shannon, Rachael, Kenzie, Callum, Caoimhe, Alannah, Emma and Leah, daughter-in-law AnneMarie, sons-in-law Paul and Alan, sisters Mary, Betty and Bridie, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her home today, Saturday, August 16 from 5pm to 9pm and also on Sunday, August 17 from 3pm to 5pm.

Funeral on Monday morning, August 18 to St. Canice’s Church, Finglas for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass followed by Burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

Geraldine Mooney (née Brady) Greystones, Co. Wicklow and late of Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan.

It is with broken hearts that the Mooney family announce the passing of the beautiful soul of Geraldine Mooney (née Brady) of Ballyjamesduff, (October 16, 1942 - 13th August 2025) surrounded by her loving family, in the kind care of staff at St. Vincent's University Hospital after a courageous battle against an illness that she always bore with the greatest dignity, patience and her inimitable elegance.

Deeply loved wife and soul mate of Phil Mooney, best mother of all time to Phil, David, Aisling, Rachel and Julianne and greatest sister to Olive Broderick, Geraldine will be forever loved and missed.

Geraldine's love for each person she touched will be keenly missed by all, and especially by her sons-in-law Mitchel and Dan, daughters-in-law Esther and Kristen, her eight beautiful grandchildren Philip, Katherine, Mia, Daniel, Cathal, Cian, Saoirse and Jack and all the cousins, extended family in both Mooney and Brady families and her wide circle of friends that she kept close throughout her whole life.

Funeral Mass today, Saturday, August 16 at 11am in The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones followed by Interment in Kilquade New Cemetery.

Kathleen Nulty (née Lynch), Assan, New Inn, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Friday, August 15 surrounded by her loving family under the compassionate care at Cavan General Hospital, following her stay in Castlemanor Nursing Home, where she was well cared for.

Beloved wife of the Late John. Kathleen will be dearly missed by her adoring family. Her children Yvonne, Patricia, John, Eamonn and Frances, her sons-in-law Steve and Paul, daughter-in-law Helen, grandchildren Michelle, Jenny, Sarah, Paul, Thomas, Amy, David and Aaron, great-grandchildren Ella, Freya, Luke, Emily, Killian, Olivia and Warren, her brothers Peter and Niall, sisters Rose, Rita, Clare, Pearl and Patricia, nephews, nieces and good neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Matthew’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough Rd, Virginia, (A82 YV58) on Sunday, August 17 from 5pm until 7pm.

Funeral mass on Monday, August 18 at St.Mary’s Church, Clanaphilip at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bernard (Benny) McAree, Canal Street, Monaghan Town, Tuesday 12th August 2025, peacefully surrounded by his family at home. Predeceased by his brother John and his sister Minnie Finnegan.

Benny will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 60 years Mary, his children, Bernard (Bernie), Sinéad (Blair Cunningham), Christopher, his adored grandchildren Ciarán, Eimear, Áine, Leah and Michael, his brother Jimmy, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Benny's funeral procession will arrive to St Macartan’s Cathedral today, Saturday, August 16 for 11am funeral mass, followed by burial in Latlurcan cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed and can be viewed. Family flowers only please.

House is strictly private at all times please, to give the family the time and respect to spend with Benny.

Maureen Conroy (née West) formerly Drumlane, Castleblayney. Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of St. Francis’ Nursing Home, Mount Oliver.

Predeceased by her husbands John McCabe (St. Nicholas’ Avenue) and Stephen Conroy, parents John and Bridget and siblings John, Vincent, Francis, Brendan (in infancy), Ena, Dympna, Bridie and Goretti.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken sons and daughters Brendan, Finnbar, Barry, Stephanie, Michele, Edmund and Leon, sons-in-law Laurence, Karl and Niall, daughters-in-law Barbara, Dolores and Ann-Marie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Phyllis and Monica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family circle, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home until removal today, Satuday, August 16 at 10.30am, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Castletown, arriving for funeral mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
