The death has occurred peacefully of Brendan Clarke, Mullaghland, Mullagh, Co. Cavan on 20th April 2026.

Paddy (Patrick) Conlon

9 Earlsvale Road, Cavan Town, Cavan

Paddy (Patrick) Conlon, New Jersey, USA. Formerly of 9 Earlsvale Rd, Cavan. Peacefully on Thursday 16th April 2026 in the loving care of his family and staff in Jersey Shore University Medical Centre, New Jersey.

Predeceased by his Mother Winnie and his Father Paddy.Cherished husband to Mary Kay, and beloved father to Megan. He will be deeply missed also by his son in law Les, and grandson Abel.

Paddy will be sadly missed by his brother Ger (Linda), and sisters Mary (Patsy), Phil (Joe), Bernie (Sam), Marty, Freda (Patrick), and Katie (Michael), his many nieces, nephews, cousins, his extended American family, and many friends.

Beloved by all who knew him, may his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Cremation to take place in New Jersey. Funeral mass and burial to take place in Killygarry later.

The death has occurred of Seamus Kerrigan, Burrane, Killimer, Kilrush, Co. Clare and formerly of Barconey, Co. Cavan. Unexpectedly, at his Residence. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Imy, family Niall, Aoiffe, Ceara and Maire, daughter-in-law Suzanne, sons-in-law Keith and Conor, grandchildren Roisin, Lucas, Eabha and Ryan, brothers Eugene, John and the late Tommy, sisters Anna-May and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, kind neighbours and many friends.

May his gentle Soul rest in peace.

Reposing at St. Imy's Church Killimer on Tuesday evening from 6 o'clock with Prayers at 8 o'clock. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11 o'clock. Interment afterwards in Burrane Cemetery, Killimer. House private please. Family flowers only.

We are saddened to announce the death of Declan McQuaid,17 Oisin Briain, Ballyoisin, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, Monday 20th April at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Mary & Kevin.

Declan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Annmarie, brothers Francie (Eileen), Sean (Siobhan), Alan, his niece Michaela, nephews Garreth, Stefan, Conor, Mathew and extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Bernie (Bernadette) Tackney, nee Cleary, 4 Legar Crescent, Clones, Co. Monaghan, Monday 20th April 2026, peacefully at home in the excellent care of her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Bridie and her brother Noel.

Beloved wife of Eddie and devoted mother of Joey (Sandra), Eamonn (Diane) and Paidi (Ausra). Bernie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, sons, daughters-in-law, adored grandchildren, Austėja, Danielius and Adrija, siblings John, Dermot, Mary, Briege, Eileen, Harry, Ann, Dominic, Jim, Kiddy and Michelle, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Bernie.

Bernie will repose at Martin's Family Room, Newbliss, H18C962 on Tuesday 21st from 4pm to 9pm and Wednesday 22nd from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on foot from the family home, 4 Legar Crescent, Clones on Thursday morning 23rd at 10.30am, arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Clones for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery.

Bernie's funeral cortège to the chapel will travel via Fairview, left at the traffic lights, The Diamond and Fermanagh St.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative care and Alzheimer's Clones Day Care c/o Martin's Funeral Directors, Newbliss/donation box in Martin's Family Room or any family member.
