KERR (Maynooth, Co Kildare, late of Bailieborough, Co Cavan) May 8th 2026 (peacefully) in Tallaght University Hospital, Derek, beloved husband of Carla.
Sadly missed by his wife, parents Peter and Alice, brother Ronan and his wife Lisa, niece Layla, nephew Kian, mother-in-law Anne Bennett, his extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Removal Thursday (May 14th) to the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium arriving for Funeral Service at 3pm which can be viewed on the link below. No flowers please.

Brigid Mc Dermott Smith
Virginia, Cavan
The death has occurred of Brigid McDermott Smith, Virginia, and formerly of Granacunia, Killinkere, and Tottenham, London, on 9th May 2026, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents, P.D. and Teresa McDermott; her husband Tommy (The Scott) Smith and her nephew baby Francis Brady.
Deeply regretted by her loving sister Maria, brothers Brian, Dermot, Patsy, and Sean, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, grandnieces, nephews; grandnephews, cousins, relatives and friends, her stepson John and grand stepson Teddy.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Sunday evening from 6pm until prayers at 8pm.
Removal to Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia for Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband PJ and her parents Paddy and Kay.
Deeply regretted by her loving family - sons Noel, Dermot and Padraig, daughters Petrea, Mags and Bernie. Sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren Patrick, Leah and Ellie, sons-in-law Tony and Philip, Merryn, her twin sister Margot Boylan, brothers PJ and Francie, sisters-in-law Toni and Josie, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at McMahon’s Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, tomorrow Sunday from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from her home on Monday to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Killygarry for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Jimmy's funeral procession will arrive to St Macartan's Cathedral for 11am Funeral Mass on Monday the 11th of May, followed by burial in Latlurcan cemetery.
