Leona Connolly 27 Oran Railway View, Belturbet, Co Cavan and formally 5 Cavanreagh, Scotshouse, Clones, Co. Monaghan May 11th 2026 suddenly but peacefully at her residence
Predeceased by her grandparents Pat & Annie Connolly and Willie & Theresa Moore, uncle Brendan Moore, aunt Pauline Rathigan and her nephew Odhrán Connolly.
Remembered with love and sadly missed by her family, her loving son Harrison, parents Ollie & Bridie Connolly, brothers Patrick (Lisa) and Martin (Ida), sisters Jennifer (Andrew), Emma, Sinead (Matt) and Aine (Martin), nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home (H16 FD25), Cootehill, Co. Cavan this Friday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Removal leaving Leona’s parents’ home on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at Church of the Immaculate Conception, Scotshouse for 11 o’clock funeral mass, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
House Strictly Private at all times please.

Seamus Smith, Coolkill, Crosserlough, Co. Cavan, Wednesday, May 13th 2026 (peacefully), at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Mary Kate & Owen, brothers; Tony, Frank & Paddy and his beloved daughter in law Annmarie. Sadly missed by his loving wife Nancy, daughters; Marie (Brendan), Ann (JJ), Eileen (Glen) & Bridie (Colin), sons; John, Brendan & Paul (Lisa), his adored grandchildren; Anthony, Ronan, Rachel, Megan, Alicia, Jack, Nicole, Lauren, Michaela, Leah, Ryan, Abbey and his great grandson Luca, brothers; Eugene (UK) and George (Garrymore, Ballinagh), sisters; Peggy Maguire & Mary Callan, sister in law Patsy Brady (New York), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Suddenly at her residence. Predeceased by her parents John and Maura, infant brother Damien, Granny Katie, aunts and uncles. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken daughter Leanne (Paul) and her much loved and adoring granddaughter Katie. Lovingly remembered by her brothers Kieron, Raymond, Shaun and Fintan, sisters Marion, Audrey and Ashling. Sadly missed by her aunt Kate Mary, aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at her home (Eircode H12KW10) on Friday from 1pm - 8pm. Removal on Saturday to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Clifferna, for Funeral Mass at 2pm, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to The Asthma Society of Ireland, care of the undertaker. House private at all other times please.

Clerkin Funeral Directors regret to announce that the death has occurred of Mary Mc Dermott (née Sweeney), Ballinode, Co. Monaghan and formerly Polranney, Achill, Co. Mayo, Wednesday the 13th of May, peacefully surrounded by her devoted family. She is now with her beloved husband Jim Joe Mc Dermott, her dear grandchildren Fionn and Leonard and her parents and siblings who have predeceased her.

She will be sadly missed by her loving children Rory (Evelyn), Mona (Michael), Ronnie (Patricia), Fergus (Gráinne), Emmet (Ashley), Donie (Niamh) and Roger (Siobhán), her brother John (Kathleen) and sister Rita, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary will repose at her daughter’s residence in Ballinode (H18A294) on Friday 15th May from 2pm - 9pm. Mary's funeral procession will arrive to St Mary’s Church, Urbleshanny on Saturday morning for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to "The Monaghan Branch, Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland" to Clerkin Funeral Directors or by Donation Box.
Funeral Mass will be live streamed though Tydavnet Parish RC Churches Facebook page.
