Seamus (Doc) Galligan, The Green, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan and formerly of Cavan Town, Thursday, May 14th 2026, (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of Sheelin Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Nancy & Brian, sister Marion and brothers; Joe, Peter, Michael & Bernard. Sadly missed by his wife Anne, daughters; Julie (Colin) and Claire (Mark), sons; Brian (Karen) and Shane (Mary), adored grandchildren; Darragh, Rebecca, Emma, Ally, Bobby, Grace and Phoebe, sister Ann, brother Noel, brother in law Padraig, sisters in law; Oonagh & Angela, Uncle Michael Baines, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck, (A82 DX59), on Sunday (17th) from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (18th) at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Kilnaleck. Burial afterwards, in the family plot, in St. Aidan's Cemetery, Butlersbridge.

The death has occurred of Eugene Lynch Carrickacromin, Tunnyduff, Bailieborough, Co.Cavan. Died Thursday 14th May 2026, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Recently predeceased by his daughter Kelly, his parents Michael and Margaret, his sisters Betty, Teresa, Monica, Marie and his brother John Pat.
Deeply Regretted and lovingly missed by his daughter Virginia (Brian), son Michael (Rose) and their mother Marion. Sadly missed by his brother Michael, sisters Una, Bernadette and Geraldine, his adored grandchildren and great grand children, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home Bailieborough this Friday evening 15th May from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Patrick's Church Carrickallen, Mountain Lodge for Funeral Mass at 11am via Greagh Cross and Carrickacromin, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1pm.

Fr. Patrick McKenna
Tavanagh, Killybrone, Clara, Monaghan
We are saddened to announce the death of Fr. Patrick McKenna, formerly of Tavanagh, Killybrone, Co.Monaghan and the diocese of Hexham & Newcastle. Friday 3rd April, peacefully.
Pre-deceased by his parents Myles & Annie McKenna.
Fr. Patrick will be sadly missed by his family; brothers Mick, Myles & Brendan, his close friends & family members, his many cousins, nephews and nieces.
May Fr. Patrick's gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Fr. Patricks Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday 16th May at 11am at St. Patrick’s Church, Clara, followed by burial of ashes in the adjoining cemetery.
