All-Ireland draw: Cavan take on Dubs, Monaghan meet Rossies
Breaking
Monaghan and Cavan have both been handed home draws for Round 2B of the All-Ireland SFC, where they will face Roscommon and Dublin, respectively, in knock-out games.
Following their one-point loss to Mayo, Monaghan will host Connacht champions Roscommon, who lost their All-Ireland series opener to Tyrone. Cavan have been given a high-profile tie at home to the Dubs, who will go into this one on the back of two consecutive defeats against Westmeath and Louth. Cavan also took Westmeath to extra-time last weekend, with the Leinster champions eventually pulling away in the last ten minutes.
Dublin manager Ger Brennan’s controversial 12-week ban expires on the weekend of Round 2B, which will take place on June 13/14 and will also include Derry v Meath and Kildare v Kerry.
The Round 2A draw features Donegal v Cork; Galway v Westmeath; Tyrone v Mayo; and Louth v Armagh.
