Predeceased by her parents Packie and Susan.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Francie, her brother Pauric, her sister Christina, her brother in law Bob, nephews, niece, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her home, on Tuesday (02/06/2026) from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Wednesday (03/06/2026) from 2 p.m. until removal at 6.15 p.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass on Thursday (04/06/2026) at 11 a.m.
Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Calvary cemetery Latlurcan.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Arthur McMahon, Killygola, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan; Band Leader, Musician, Songwriter, and member of Big Tom and The Mainliners Showband, who passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, 31st May, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents, Mary-Alice and Henry; his brothers, Paddy and Seamus; and his sister, Mary McSkeane.
Henry Arthur will be deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken family: his devoted wife Esther; daughter Karen; son-in-law Gerry; his adored grandchildren, Conor and Katie-Scarlett; sisters-in-law Margaret Dunleavey (Mayo) and Marie Hanley (Navan); nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews; his Mainliners family; and his many friends from both his private and public life.

Henry Arthur will repose at Ward's Funeral Home, Ballybay (A75 H585), on Wednesday from 1:00pm until 8:00pm.
Henry Arthur’s funeral cortège will proceed on foot from the Big Tom Statue, Castleblayney, on Thursday morning at 11:30am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Castleblayney for funeral mass at 12:00 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
The family home is strictly private at all times, by request of the immediate family.

Peter McWilliam
Rathfarnham, Dublin / Monaghan Town, Monaghan
Peter McWilliam, late of Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 and formerly of Monaghan Town, passed away peacefully on 29th May 2026, after a short illness. Cherished husband of Bernie, dearly loved by his sisters Liz and Helen and Helen's husband Ingo, lovingly remembered by his stepson Dave, nephews Patrik and Ingo and their partners Sophie and Rhea, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and friends, especially from Trinty College Dublin and golf.
A celebration of Peter’s life will take place in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (4th June) at 11.00am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association here.
