Connie Briody, Barrack Road, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. Wednesday, June 10th (peacefully) in the loving care of his family and the exceptional staff at Lisdarn, Cavan. Predeceased by his wife Mary and brother Tommie. Sadly missed by his daughter Therese (Mark), son's; Paul (Paula) and Conor (Claire), sisters; Anna (Connie Smith) and Kathleen (Patsy McEnroe), brother Michael, uncle Patsy, grandchildren; Xavier, Isaac, Oscar, Jack, Finn, Daniel, Caleb and Ella, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck (A82 DX59) on Friday (12th) from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (13th) in St. Patrick's Church, Kilnaleck at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Crosserlough.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Palliative Care, Cavan c/o any family member.

Michael (Mick) Fitzpatrick peacefully at home in his 90th year Rathdown Road, Phibsborough; late of Manor Street, Dublin 7 and late of Pottle West, Lisboduff, Drung, County Cavan).

Son of the late Joe and Roseanne, and predeceased by his siblings, Pat, Mary, Theresa, John, Hugh, and Margaret. Beloved husband of Anne (Taaffe) and father of Orla and Ciara. Deeply regretted by his grandchildren Medb, Cormac and Doireann; sons-in-law Niall and Brian; sisters-in-law Margaret and Mary; nieces and nephews; relatives; friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Bourke's Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin (D07CF68) from 5pm to 7pm Friday evening (12th June). Funeral Mass in Church of the Sacred Heart (The Garrison Church), Arbour Hill, Dublin, 11am Saturday (13th June). Burial in St Loman’s Cemetery, Trim, County Meath arriving for approximately 1.20pm.

Geraldine King (née McDevitt) 8 Barrick Hill, Belturbet, Co. Cavan 10th June 2026. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends at Cavan General hospital. Predeceased by her husband Tommy and parents Rita and John.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Geraldine will be reposing at Lawlors funeral home at Ernehill, Belturbet Co. Cavan (Eircode H14 R583) on Friday from 6pm until evening prayers at 8pm. Remains will arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet for 11 o’clock funeral mass on Saturday morning with cremation afterwards in Lakelands crematorium.

Gerry McDonagh 18 Drumnaveil North, Station Road, Cootehill, Co. Cavan June 9th 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Martin & Maureen McDonagh, sister Mary Kelly and brothers-in-law Tony McCabe and Phil Casey.

Remembered with love and sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his loving wife Martina, sons Paul (Aisling) and Simon, daughters Jenna (Martin) and Keara (Sean), grandchildren Ben, Emily, Aoibhín and Luca, brother Stephen, sisters Anne, Una, Bernie and Martina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home (H16 CR60) this Wednesday evening from 5pm to 8pm, and Thursday evening from 4pm to 8pm. Removal leaving his home on Friday afternoon at 1.30pm to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Cootehill for 2 o’clock funeral mass, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.
