Carolan Tom (Oakstown, Trim, Co. Meath and formerly Mullagh, Co Cavan), in his 94th year, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Father’s Day 21st June 2026. Survived and forever loved by Mary, his heartbroken wife, married for 67 years, his daughters Veronica (Jarman) and Maureen, sons- in -law Geraint (Jarman) and Ed (McDonald), adored grandchildren Elen, Catrin and Tom Jarman and their partners, and the McDonald, Vandommele and Brady families. He will also be sadly missed by his nephews and nieces in the UK and Ireland, cousins and wider family, his wonderful friends and neighbours in Oakstown, his many buddies old and new, friends and family in Wales and the wonderful people who have cared for and supported him over the last few years.

Reposing at his home Oakstown, Trim C15 EY10, on Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Trim, on Thursday at 11am which can be viewed on the Webstream link below. Burial afterwards in St. Killian's Cemetery, Mullagh.

MONICA GRENNAN (née Kelly) Clonervy, Poles, Co Cavan and formerly of Ballinlig, Moate, Co Westmeath died peacefully on June 19th, 2026 in the devoted care of the staff at Mullinahinch House Nursing Home, Monaghan.

Beloved wife of the late Joe and sister of the late Frank Kelly, Marie Dardis and Bernie O’Connor. She will be very sadly missed by her sisters Angela Gavican and Rena Smyth, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan H12 C821 on Tuesday evening from 6 o’c until 7 o’c. Removal on Wednesday morning arriving to St. Mary's Church, Ballyhaise H12 X312 for Mass of Christian Burial 10 o’c. Burial afterwards in Cullies Cemetery.

Monica’s family would like to take this opportunity to thank her wonderful neighbours and friends, especially Miranda, for all the kindness shown to her over the years. The death has occurred of Emilio Lavarini, Oak Grove, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Rome, Italy, suddenly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, in his 85th year, 21st June 2026.

Pre-deceased by his parents Edward & Bridget and his sister Margaret Ellen.

The death has occurred of William John McAdoo, Rawteerban, Clones, Co. Monaghan and lately of Mullinahinch Nursing Home, Mullinahinch, Co. Monaghan. Passed away peacefully on Monday the 22nd of June 2026 surrounded by his loving family and the caring staff of Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his dear wife Pearl and his brother Roy.

William will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughter Ruth (Jonathan), his sons David (Carole), Richard and Robert (Sharon), his cherished grandchildren Peter and Olivia, his sister Ena Graham, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Callers are welcome to Robert and Sharon McAdoo's home, Rawdeerpark, Clones, Co. Monaghan (H23KO37) on Tuesday the 23rd of June from 5pm until 8:30pm.

Funeral cortege will leave his home on Wednesday the 24th of June to arrive at Clones Presbyterian Church where sympathising will take place at 1:15pm prior to the funeral service. House private to family only please on the morning of the funeral. Funeral service will be held at 2pm followed by private interment in Clones Presbyterian Graveyard.

Predeceased by his parents John and Bridget, his brothers Francis and Sean and his sister Mary.

Much loved husband of Ann and cherished father of Cára (Mark), Darina (Gerard) and Darren. Martin will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, son and their partners, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Martin.
