Heavy showers expected today

Cloudy with showery outbreaks of rain and drizzle at first.

Conditions will brighten up through the day as showers develop from the west, some will be heavy and thundery at times.

Showers will become more isolated towards the evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees. Light to moderate southerly winds veering west to northwesterly.

Tonight there will be clear spells over parts of the east at first, but cloud will quickly increase from the west with generally dry conditions apart from the odd isolated shower.

Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees. Moderate west to northwest winds.

Tomorrow rain and drizzle will spread eastwards from the west, bringing heavy and persistent falls at times.

Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees. Moderate west to southwest winds.
