Murder investigation launched after woman found dead at Killarney home

A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead at home in Co Kerry.
The woman has been named locally as Jamey Carney, aged in her 40s.
Her body was found at a domestic residence at Muckross Road in Killarney on Tuesday.
Gardaí said a post-mortem examination has been completed by state pathologist Dr Linda Mulligan, the results of which are not being released for operational reasons.
The scene remains preserved while a technical examination of the location is carried out.
An incident room has been established at Killarney Garda Station and a senior investigating officer has been appointed to lead the murder investigation.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone who was in the Muckross Road area of Killarney between 11pm on July 6th and 5am on July 7th and who may have camera footage.
