Peacefully at North West Hospice Sligo.

Beloved wife of Micheál, loving mother of Michelle and Sinéad, son in law Duncan Warner, Grandchildren Kate, Suzie and Finn.

Anna will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Patsy McCann, Eileen Cullen, Kathleen Maguire, brothers Eamonn and Sean McGirr, Sisters in law, Brothers in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence Barran, Blacklion, Co. Cavan Eircode F91 F7K7 on Friday from 4 until 8pm. House private at all other times.

Removal from her home on Saturday to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church Killinagh, Blacklion for 12 o clock Funeral mass, burial afterwards in Killinagh cemetery.

Passed away peacefully on Thursday September 17th 2026 while in the tender, loving & devoted care of the staff of Ros na Rí House.

Predeased by his parents Gregory & Mary, brothers Phillip & Michael, sister Maura & sister-in-law Bella.

Deeply regretted and much loved by brothers Gregory (Dublin), Sean (Sligo), Maurice (Ballyconnell) & sisters Jean Mc Caffrey (Joe) Sligo, Eileen Mc Caffrey (Eugene) Belturbet, brother-in-law Sean Gaffney (Oldcastle), sister-in-law Margaret (Ballinamore), nephews, nieces and wonderful friends, fellow residents & staff of Ros na Rí House.

Remains arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell for funeral Mass on Saturday at 2:30 p.m

Dunne, Philip (Cabra, Dublin and formerly of Maghera Co. Cavan) – 15th September 2026 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Mary. He will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by his son Michael, daughter Catherine, daughter-in-law Lisa, son-in-law Stephen, grandchildren Aoife, Connor, Patrick, Luke, Philip and Katie, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, relatives friends and neighbours.

Mary passed away peacefully on 16th September 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Castlemanor Nursing Home, Co Cavan. Mary daughter of the late John and Annie, beloved wife and best friend of the late Michael, Mary will be fondly remembered by her sister Margaret and the late Paddy, Tenny, Kitty, Bridie and Susan, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, great grand nephews, great grand nieces, , extended family, neighbours and many friends, whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence

Patricia (Pat) O’Reilly, (nee Orme), Derrindrehid, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan and formerly of Killala, Co. Mayo, Thursday 17th September 2026. Peacefully at Cavan General hospital. Predeceased by her beloved son Paudie and her parents Packie and Margaret.

Beloved wife of Meehaul and mother of Mairead, Fearghal, Aishling, Sinead and Aoishe. Pat will be missed by her sons in law, daughters in law, her grandchildren and great grandchild, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Pat will be reposing at Lawlors Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet, Co. Cavan (Eircode H14 R583) tomorrow Friday evening from 5pm until evening prayers at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Killeshandra for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Emiligh Hearne, Drumaconvern, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, on Thursday, September 17th, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family.

A cherished daughter, beloved sister and precious granddaughter, Emiligh brought a very special warmth and love to those fortunate enough to share her life. Though her time in this world was all too short, the love she gave and the beautiful memories she leaves behind will remain forever in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

Predeceased by her grandfather Noel Hearne, Passage East, Co. Waterford.

Emiligh will be deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken parents Deirdre and Ed, her brother Jake and sister Emma, nannie Mary Hearne, grandad and granny Owen and Ann Carragher, Culloville, Crossmaglen, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Her family will forever treasure the precious years they shared with Emiligh and hold close the love, tenderness and memories that will sustain them in the difficult days ahead.

Emiligh will repose at her home until removal on Saturday morning to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen, for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

House strictly private at all times, at the request of the family.

The death has occurred of Joan Mealiff (née Leary), Altertate Glebe, Clones, Co. Monaghan, formerly of The Lennard Arms Hotel, who passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Thursday, 17th September 2026, surrounded by her loving family, in her 97th year.

Predeceased by her husband Jim, daughter Linda, son Ross, daughter-in-law Jackie and granddaughter Danika.

Joan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons David and Sammy, daughter Sandra, son-in-law Barry, daughters-in-law Breige and Kate, grandchildren Blain (Isabella), Jake (Natasha), Shane (Taylor), Matilda, Jamie (Damian), Emma (Max), Jane (Ivan), James (Eimear) and Hannah, great-grandchildren Tighe, Orla, Art, Milena, Cashel, Finley and Caelan, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Joan.

Reposing at her son Sammy's residence, Clonmore, Clones, Co. Monaghan (H23 VN52), on Friday, 18th September, and Saturday, 19th September, from 4pm to 8pm.

Removal on Sunday, 20th September, to St. Tighernach’s Church of Ireland, The Diamond, Clones, for Funeral Service at 1.30pm, followed by burial in the Church of Ireland Graveyard, Tee Hill, Scotshouse Road, Clones.

Joan's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home and to the Doctors, Nurses and Carers of Medical 5 at Cavan General Hospital for their incredible care and compassion of Joan.

A huge thank you to Audrey, Mena and Stella, and a very special thank you to Marian for her kindness, care and support.

Predeceased by her husband Eugene and her son Barry. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Sadie, sons Brian and Niall, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Lorraine, son-in-law Mike (RIP), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home (Woodlands, A81 YN27) on Friday from 4pm to 8pm. Teresa’s funeral cortège will leave her home on Saturday morning driving to ‘The Bridge’ and proceeding on foot to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253 arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Following the Requiem Mass, the funeral cortège will drive to St Joseph’s Cemetery for burial in the family plot.
