The death has occurred of Anna Brady (née Brady), Cornaslieve, Virginia, Co. Cavan on the 21st September 2026,peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents, Mary and Charles.
Beloved wife of James and cherished mother of Donald (Debbie), Seamus (Fidelma), Caroline (Eugene), Geraldine (Andre) and Kevin (Orla).
Anna will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her much-loved grandchildren Connor, Ciara, Oliver, Sarah, Sean, Darragh, Ciaran, Aaron, Luca, Killian, Elizabeth and Emma; her brother John (Lismeen, Ballyjamesduff), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Rest In Peace
Anna will repose at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia, Co. Cavan (A82 YV58) on Wednesday evening from 5.00pm until prayers at 8.00pm.
Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Lurgan, for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
House private, please.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Cavan Hospital Comfort Care Fund.

Mary Delahunty (née McGovern)

The death has occurred of Mary (Third) Delahunty (née McGovern), Bedford, England and formerly of Crea, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan.
Peacefully on 23rd December, 2025.
Mary was a much loved and loving wife, mum, sister, auntie and cousin.
A kind and gentle soul, Mary is greatly missed by all her family and friends.
May she rest in peace
Requiem Mass on Monday 28th September at 11.00 am in St. Patrick's Church, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan, N41 Y409, with interment of ashes in the adjoining cemetery.

Deirdre Hyland, née Reilly, Castlemanor, Cavan and formerly of Clarebawn, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan and Rathfarnham, Dublin, Monday September 21st peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Castlemanor Nursing Home. Pre-deceased by her husband Michael, her parents James and Nancy, her son in law Jonathan Gray. Sadly missed by her devoted daughters Olivia and Loretta (Clint Donnellan), son Justin (Catherine Cronogue), brother Sean (Catherine), grandchildren Avril, Daryl, Aaron, Quentin, Lucas, Caprice, Shannon, Jenna, Lara, great-granddaughter Kylie, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives, and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road Cavan (H12RF78) tomorrow Wednesday September 23rd from 7.45pm until 9.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12noon in St. Patrick's Church, Drumcor, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
