Cavan Autotrac lands MAXUS dealership
Cavan Autotrac has expandied its commercial vehicle offering after being appointed an official main agent for MAXUS commercial vehicles.
The local business, led by Richard and James Pratt, has extensive experience across the agricultural, commercial and motor sectors, and has also recently launched an online parts store.
The new MAXUS franchise will see Cavan Autotrac supply a range of medium and large vans, crew cabs and pickups, backed by local sales, servicing and aftersales support.
Dealer principal James Pratt said Autotrac, which is based at Derrycramph, outside Cavan Town, has been working towards securing the MAXUS franchise for several years.
“We have been trying to get them for the last number of years, and we really see that there’s a need for them in the market,” he said.
“When we got the opportunity this year to take them on, we jumped at it.”
WARRANTIES
He believes the combination of competitive pricing and warranty support appeals to customer.
“With a five-year warranty on a van that’s very reasonably priced in the market, when you look at the numbers and running costs, it’s really, really cost-effective.”
As an example, James highlighted the MAXUS Deliver 9, priced from €29,950 plus VAT, saying it can offer a significant saving compared with established competitors.
