Continuing unsettled with rain or showers each day. Temperatures remaining below average for early June. That's the latest weather outlook from Met Éireann.

A largely dry and bright start across the country this morning away from the northwest where a band of organised showers will spread in over Ulster and north Connacht. Showers becoming more scattered this afternoon mixed with some sunny spells. Cloud will build in the southwest towards evening. Highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees, coolest in the west and northwest, in a moderate westerly breeze.

Becoming cloudier with scattered showers continuing and turning into longer spells of rain over the southern half of the country. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees in light to moderate southerly or variable winds.

Rain will clear from the east and southeast tomorrow morning and it'll brighten up then with sunny spells and scattered showers for the rest of the day. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.

Showers will become more isolated on Thursday night so most places will become dry with long clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in light to moderate west to southwest winds.

A dry and bright start to Friday before cloud builds from the west and widespread showers or longer spells of rain move across the country. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Turning rather wet overnight on Friday as outbreaks of rain spread from the west. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in light to moderate southerly or variable winds.

Cloud and rain will clear eastwards leaving a mix of showers and sunny spells for Saturday. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in moderate to fresh and occasionally strong northwest winds.

Showers will largely become confined to western and northwestern coasts overnight. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees in light to moderate northwest winds.

A mix of sunshine and showers on Sunday, with cloud increasing in the west through the day. Highest temperatures of just 13 to 16 degrees in moderate westerly winds.
