Dry, mild weather to hold out for the rest of the week

High pressure building bringing a good deal of dry weather, with temperatures continuing close to or slightly above normal for the time of year.
Dry for most this morning apart from scattered showers over parts of Munster and south Leinster which could be heavy or thundery at times. The showers will slowly become more isolated through the day. Elsewhere it will be largely dry with limited bright spells and just the chance of a stray shower. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees, with light to moderate easterly winds.
Largely dry with clear spells and just isolated showers tonight, these most likely over parts of Munster. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees in light to moderate east to northeast winds.
Tomorrow will be mostly dry and bright, though there is the chance of an odd light shower. Long spells of sunshine will develop for most through the day, although it may stay cloudier in the southwest. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees in light to moderate east to northeast winds.
Dry with long clear spells tomorrow night. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in a light variable breeze.
Thursday should remain dry for most with a mix of cloud and sunny spells with just a few stray showers occurring. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees in light variable breezes.
Another dry night on Thursday with clear spells. Some mist and fog patches will develop in the west later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a light variable breeze.
Any mist and fog will clear on Friday morning to leave another mainly dry day with spells of sunshine. An isolated shower is possible towards Atlantic coasts. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees, warmest further west in light northwesterly or variable breezes.
The weekend: Current indications suggest Saturday will see a mix of sunny spells and showers. Cloud then looks to build through Sunday with further showers and rain arriving into the southwest.
