Jack Foley, Corbeagh, Cootehill, Co Cavan and Swinford, Co Mayo , formerly of Corthoon, Charlestown. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Winifred, brothers Tom, Jim, Mick, paddy, sisters Bridget and Mary, nephews John Foley, Corthoon and Michael Foley Australia. Sadly missed by loving wife, Claire, sisters Kathleen and Ellen, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Jack will repose at his home in Corbeagh, Cootehill, Co Cavan (H16A621) on Thursday 15th January from 3.30pm to 6.00pm and at the Horkan Funeral Home , (F12D393) Charlestown on Friday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St James's Church, Charlestown for funeral mass at 11 o clock followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live here.

Toneymore, Cavan

The death has occurred of Eamonn Malone, Toneymore, Cavan, Co.Cavan, Tuesday January 13th 2026, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, in the loving care of his family in his 86th year.

Predeceased by his parents James and Kate Malone, his sister Pamela and his brother in law Charlie.

Beloved husband of Bernadette, Eamonn will be forever loved and sadly missed by his wife and his loving family, Orla (Alan), Ed (Karen) and Mary (Dave), his adored grandchildren Isabel, Aoife, Conor, Lily, Ruairí and Zach, brothers Oliver (Vera) and JP (Josie), sisters Mary, Catherine and Deirdre, along with his nieces, nephews, cousins, all his extended family, good neighbours and many friends (in particular Martin Sheridan who has been a constant support to all the family).

May he rest in peace.

Eamonn will be reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Thursday evening from 5pm until evening prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am in the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan and following Mass the cortege will travel to St.Patrick's Church, Drumcor (H12YP76) for committal prayers and burial in the family plot.

The Malone family wish to acknowledge the wonderful care that Eamonn received from all his carers in his home, the Public Health Nurse and also to thank the staff at Cavan General Hospital for their help and support during his time there and also the staff at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin for the high level of support provided to Eamonn during his many visits there. Elizabeth Hannah (Lily) Morrison (née Pearson) Pine Lodge, Dunaweel, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, Tuesday January 13th peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff of Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Jim. Lily will be very sadly missed by her daughter Joan, sons Winston and Ronald, son-in-law Jim, daughters-in-law Doris and Karen, grandchildren Keith, Jonathan, Heather, Rebecca and James, great grandchildren Charlie, Heidi and Joshua, brother John, sister Marjorie, brother-in-law George, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Lily will be resting in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12RF78) on Friday evening 16th from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Funeral service on Saturday 17th at 2pm in Corlespratten Methodist Church (H12 V902) followed by burial in Arva Church of Ireland graveyard.

Oliver passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 14th January 2026, surrounded by his loving family at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Elizabeth (née O’Neill), devoted and loving father of Teresa, Niomi and Tracy and adored grandad of Dean, Thomas, Hannah, Daniel, Níamh, Leah and Ciarán and great grandad of Marnie-Mae. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Norbert and Jim, sister Vivienne, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his son in law Donal and siblings Noel, Vincent, Brendan, Sean and Maud

Oliver will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Saturday morning for funeral Mass at 10am followed by private cremation.

Predeceased by her beloved son Patrick and his father Seamus Wyse. Predeceased by his parents Laurence and Elizabeth, sisters Lily, Anza and Margaret.

Jim’s funeral cortège will leave from the family home, Avelreagh House on Saturday morning at 10:30am, to arrive at St.Michael’s Church, Annyalla for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
