Another cloudy day with rain and drizzle

Unsettled conditions to continue over the coming days with rain and showers moving in from the Atlantic. Temperatures will take a brief dip on Friday and Saturday but will return close to normal or slightly above from Sunday. That's the latest bulletin from the national weather forecaster.
Cloudy today (Thursday) with outbreaks of rain and drizzle becoming widespread throughout the morning. The rain will gradually clear to the southeast with outbreaks lingering on coastal fringes in the south and east. Elsewhere will see brighter conditions developing with scattered showers and the occasional sunny spell. Highest temperature of 9 to 13 degrees. Breezy too with moderate to fresh southerly winds, strong at times on the coast.
Remaining cloudy overnight with rain and drizzle lingering over southern and eastern fringes. Elsewhere will remain mostly dry for the night apart from the odd isolated shower further north. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees.
Another cloudy start tomorrow (Friday) with outbreaks of rain and drizzle lingering over southern and eastern counties for a time. A clearance will develop from the northwest through the early afternoon with sunny spells and scattered showers. Some showers may turn heavy at times with the chance of hail. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in moderate northwesterly winds.
Dry and frosty overnight on Friday with long clear spells leading to widespread frost and icy patches forming. Lowest temperatures of -3 to +1 degrees in a light westerly or variable breeze.
A bright and crispy morning for most on Saturday with frost patches. Cloudier further west with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading eastwards through the day becoming more isolated as it clears. Scattered showers will follow in behind. Highest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees, coldest in the north in mostly moderate southerly winds, strong at times on Atlantic coasts.
Cloud will increase from the southwest overnight on Saturday with rain and drizzle becoming widespread. Mild with lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees in moderate southerly winds, strong on Altantic coasts.
A wet and blustery start to meteorological spring on Sunday with outbreaks of rain, turning heavy at times. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in fresh to strong south to southwest winds, with gales on coasts.
Monday will begin rather wet with rain clearing to the east. A clearance will develop through the morning for a time before cloudy conditions start to feed in from the west again with further outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
