Warm welcome at the Bailie
As visitors make their way to County Cavan this summer, the Bailie Hotel is preparing to welcome back many familiar faces alongside those discovering the area for the first time. Each year, guests travel from America and across Europe to stay at the hotel, with many making Bailieborough part of their annual trip.
“One of the nicest things about summer is seeing our returning guests walk through the door,” says Kate Scully, who looks after the hotel’s marketing. “Many have been coming back for years and they always look forward to catching up with owner Austin and the rest of the team. Those friendships have grown over time, and that’s something really special.”
Bailieborough is perfectly placed for exploring the best of County Cavan, with scenic lakes, forest walks and a packed calendar of summer events all within easy reach.
July sees the ever-popular Summer Cottage Market return, bringing together artisan food and craft producers, live music and family entertainment.
Looking ahead to August, local agricultural shows, family fun days and community festivals across the county will once again attract visitors from near and far, adding to the vibrant atmosphere throughout the region.
Whether visitors are exploring the county, attending an event or simply passing through, The Bailie Hotel and Tailor Lounge continue to be a popular stop for food, drinks and overnight stays.
“We’re very proud of the welcome people receive here,” Kate adds. “We also know that value matters, which is why we’re committed to offering some of the most competitive accommodation rates in the area without compromising on quality or service.”
With another busy summer ahead, the Bailie Hotel looks forward to welcoming loyal returning guests, first-time visitors and the local community alike, ensuring everyone experiences the warm hospitality that has made it a favourite destination.
