Luke Combs at Slane Castle: Everything you need to know for Slane Concert 2026

A Slane Concert guide to start times, transport, ticket information, and more.

Slane Castle is preparing to welcome one of the biggest names in country music as American superstar Luke Combs takes to the stage for two nights this weekend.

The North Carolina native will make history as the first artist to headline back-to-back concerts at the iconic Meath venue.

Combs will perform on July 18 and 19, marking the return of the legendary Slane Concert after a three-year break since Harry Styles played on the banks of the River Boyne in June 2023.

With more than 25 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Combs arrives in Slane as part of the European leg of his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour. Following the Irish dates, he will travel to the UK for performances in Edinburgh and London.

The 36-year-old released his sixth studio album, The Way I Am, in March, continuing a remarkable rise that began with the release of his debut EP, This One's for You, nine years ago. His biggest hits include When It Rains It Pours and Beautiful Crazy, both of which have surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, while his 2023 rendition of Tracy Chapman's Fast Car introduced the classic to a new generation of fans.

Joining Combs on the lineup are Dublin rock band The Script, American country singer Ty Myers and country trio The Castellows.

While Luke Combs is undoubtedly the main attraction at Slane Castle, this year's concert also features a strong supporting lineup.

Opening the show will be Galway singer-songwriter Jamie McIntyre. The 24-year-old is set for a busy summer, with support slots for Tom Grennan and Gavin James during their Irish tours, as well as a performance at Electric Picnic.

Adding to the country flavour of the lineup are rising American acts The Castellows and Ty Myers. The all-female trio, The Castellows, will be the second act to take to the stage, before Myers performs ahead of the evening's main support.

Flying the flag for Ireland are Dublin pop-rock favourites The Script, who will take on the coveted chief support slot before Combs headlines. Best known for chart-topping hits including The Man Who Can't Be Moved and Hall of Fame, the band are preparing to embark on an arena tour following the release of their latest album, The User's Guide to Being Human, in August.
