Carmel Waters

The death has occurred of Carmel Waters née McNiff Fearglass North, Mohill, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Glangevlin, Co. Cavan, Thursday 1st October 2026 suddenly at her residence.
Predeceased by her beloved husband; William (Willie), her parents; Margaret and James and her brothers; John and Jim.
Carmel will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters; Caroline (Damian), Kathleen (Rory), Noelle (Padraig), sons; James (Orla) and Kieran, sisters Rose and Mary, sister-in-law; Anne, brother-in-law; Eugene and her 12 cherished grandchildren; Rachel, Lauren, John, Edel, Jack, Cian, Leah, Emily, Mark, Emma, Rian and Eva, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Carmel’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Carmel will repose at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (N39 EC81) on Sunday (4th October 2026) from 4.00pm concluding with prayers at 6.00pm.
Mass of the Resurrection on Monday (5th October 2026) at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Gortletteragh followed by burial to Ballinamuck New Cemetery.
House private to family and friends please.

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Noel, parents James and Elizabeth and her deceased brothers and sisters.
Joan will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; children Stephanie, Lisa, Colette, Kevin and Melanie, sisters Kathleen and Marie, grandchildren Gillian, Derek, Emily, Fiona, Alan, Sophie, Jonathan, Katie, Sarah, Jack, Ella, Claire and Rachel, great grandchildren Tadhg, Macie, Evie and Paudie, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

We are saddened to announce the death of Patrick McMeel (Wee Paddy), Urlish, Killybrone, Clara, Co.Monaghan, H18 EH67. Sunday 4th October, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the Rossmore Ward at Monaghan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents George & Mary Mc Meel, infant son Patrick, daughter Dolores and sister Peggy Mc Mahon.
Patrick will be sadly missed by his loving wife Brigid, children Olivia (Raymond RIP) Enda (Monica), Seamus (Jackie), Patricia, Fergal (Claire) & Gregory (Aoife), his much loved grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Seamus and sister Susie Corrigan, brother in law and sister in law, nieces and nephews, the extended McMeel family, neighbours, and all those who loved Paddy.

Paddy’s remains will repose at McMahons Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 on Monday from 3pm - 8pm and at his home (H18 EH67) on Tuesday from 3pm - 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am at St.Patrick’s Church, Clara. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Patrick Joseph Quinn
Lisnalong, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Patrick Joseph Quinn, Solihull, and formerly The Lane Conacullion Lisnalong County Monaghan on Monday, September 7th, in Solihull Hospital, Birmingham.
Predeceased by his parents, Mary and Michael, sisters Sarah and Nellie, brothers Michael, Peter and Frank.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by family, sons Patrick, Paul and Aidan, daughter Stella, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Patrick will repose at Wards Funeral Home Ballybay, Co.Monaghan (A75H585) on Wednesday October 7th from 5pm until 7pm with family in attendance. Patrick’s funeral cortège will arrive to St. Mary’s Church Latton on Thursday morning October 8th for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
