2010 Toyota Drive this weekend
Toyota is offering customers and potential customers the chance to see and test drive "the best built cars in the world" at its dealer network - including Erne Motor Works in Cavan - this weekend. The showroom is open all weekend so you can see how to save on fuel, emissions and road tax in 2010, and there are price cuts on selected models too. The big event is called 2010 Toyota Drive and it's all about what's next on the road ahead. Toyota has big plans for the new year and seems determined to offer excellent value to its customers. For example, it has reduced the price of the new Corolla (petrol version) by 10% and it's also giving away €10,000 in Prize Bonds, free for one year. The deal works like this: if you buy a new Corolla petrol for €19,500 (reduced from €21,670) by March 31 next €10,000 in Prize Bonds will be purchased for your benefit for one year. The bonds will be held for you by Toyota Ireland and you will receive the relevant bond numbers. This means you could win any of the thousands of cash prizes every week, and €1m every month, for 12 months. Any money the bonds win within the period of one year is all yours, tax free. It's that simple... and there's no catch. On top of all that there'll be a free draw for all Corolla purchasers, and the lucky winner will get to keep his or her €10,000 in Prize Bonds forever. The staff at Erne Motor Works will be at their showroom throughout the weekend, with a welcoming cup of tea or coffee, ready and able to answer any questions you have on Toyota's 2010 range of cars and special offers. As well as the Prize Bond offer to discuss, you could ask about the new Corolla Verso, which will be available along with the rest of the range for test drives, or the new Prius - a car that has already gained a great reputation. It will be at Erne Motor Works before Christmas, so keep in touch to find out more. There are discounts on certain other models, but perhaps the most impressive is the deal on the petrol Toyota, which makes the world's best selling car even better value. Call the team at Erne Motor Works on 049-4332744 for more details. IDA meeting Don't forget, the Irish Drivers Association is holding a public meeting in the Hotel Kilmore today, Wednesday, November 25 at 8.30pm. The principal aim of the organisation is a legal challenge to VRT.
