Cuilcagh boardwalk reopens after Storm Francis

Management of the site are advising visitors to try and visit on off-peak times such as mid-week or a date later in the Autumn season.

The Cuilcagh Boardwalk has reopened after being closed for a period due to safety concerns regarding the impact of Storm Francis.

With the storm now passed, the popular tourist has reopened to visitors.

However, management of the site are advising visitors to try and visit on off-peak times such as mid-week or a date later in the Autumn season.

'Don't forget this weekend is a bank holiday in NI and we expect the boardwalk to be busy. If you're planning on walking it soon, try and avoid the weekend!' the Marble Arch Geopark tweeted.
