Maureen Comiskey (nee Cullen) Drumackinoe, Carrigan, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, January 11th (peacefully) at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved wife of Charlie, sadly missed by her children; Michael, Margaret, John Joe, Carmel, Rosie, Declan, Cathal and Oliver, brother Seamus, grandchildren, sister-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck, on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Walk through only, please. Funeral Mass on Thursday in St. Joseph's Church, Drumkilly, at 12 noon followed by Cremation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cavan General Hospital c/o Briody's Funeral Home or any family member. Please adhere to social distancing and mask wearing protocols at all times, please.

Bernie Corrigan

The death has occurred of Bernie Corrigan, Corlurgan House, Cavan, formerly Church Street, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. January 11th 2022 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, Cavan. Predeceased by her parents Dermot and Margaret, brother baby James. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Dermot, Gerard and Declan, sisters Margaret, Geraldine and Martina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and her friends at Corlurgan House Cavan.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill this Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Due to Government and HSE restrictions social distancing will have to be adhered also. Wear face coverings and no shaking of hands please. Funeral cortege will leave Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill on Thursday morning at 11.40am to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Cootehill for 12 noon Funeral Mass, burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Middle Chapel, Cootehill.

The Corrigan family would like to thank you for your cooperation and consideration at this difficult time.

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Visvaldis.

Sadly missed by her loving daughter Gunta Bite, her grandson Tomas, extended family and many friends.

Marija's cremation service will take place on Wednesday 12th January at 6pm in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.

Frankfurt and Gladenbach (Germany), formerly, Killeshandra, Cavan / Moycullen, Galway

Elizabeth Göttsche (née Albert) of Frankfurt and Gladenbach (Germany), formerly of Killeshandra, Co. Cavan and Cloonabinna, Moycullen Co. Galway.

Died peacefully at home Sunday 2nd January 2022 in the presence of her family.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Predeceased by her mother Anni, father Philip and son Jürgen.

Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her daughters Angelika and Gaby, sons Peter and Jochen, daughter- and sons-in-law Margaret, René and Radwan, partners Joan and Lily, grandchildren Frank, Yvonne, Glenda, Ronan, Tanja, Klaus, Killian, Mark and Jan, her many great-grandchildren, by Christa and Sindy and extended family.

Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her many friends in Ireland and Germany, past and present neighbours, her colleagues in Lydon House and the former staff and customers of the Cloonabinna House Hotel.

Elizabeth was laid to rest in Gladenbach on Thursday 6th January 2022.

Veale (née Owens) Jacqueline (Jac), Malahide and formerly of New Ross, Wexford and Cavan. 11th January 2022. Passed away in the wonderful care of Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of John and mother of Katie, very sadly missed by her husband, daughter, aunt Celine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May She Rest in Peace.

Peter Frederick Weritz, Pullakeel, Carrickaboy, Co. Cavan. December 31st 2021. Beloved son of the late Winifred and Elizabeth and loving father of the late Margaret and David. Peter will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Bridie, daughters Michelle and Kerry, son Joe, his close friend Bernadette, his adored grandchildren Nathan, Katelyn, Margaret, Jason, and Callum, all his family circle and many good friends.

May he rest in peace.

Peter will repose at home in Pullakeel on Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm for Family, neighbours and close friends please. All Covid restrictions will apply with mask wearing, no handshakes or hugs and everyone keeping a safe distance.

The Funeral will leave the house on Thursday morning at 11.30am and travelling Via Denn Church and the Tank will arrive to St. Matthew’s Church, Drumavaddy for Funeral Mass at 12noon.Following Mass, the cortege will travel Via Corlurgan and Ballinagh to Mullaghboy (Bruskey) cemetery for committal prayers and burial in the Family plot. The Family would like to thank each of you for your understanding, co-operation and patience at this difficult time for them.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughter, Josephine, son-in-law Leonard, grandchildren, PJ, Louise and Ryan, brothers Bernard and Brendan, sisters Pauline and Kate, sister-in-law Alice, brother-in-law, Mick, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence in Fairtha with removal on Thursday morning via the Bog Road to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Bawn for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Please adhere to HSE guidelines at all times. Funeral will be streamed live on St Patrick's Church, Bawn website.
