A dynamic Cavan web design company is optimistic about the economy and their futuristic approach was revealed at the launch of a new website for the Minister for Agriculture, Brendan Smith, TD at his office in Carrickfern, Cavan last Friday.
Minister Smith told The Anglo-Celt that his constituency website (www.brendansmith.ie) had been totally redesigned and upgraded. He pointed out that an ever growing number of people are logging onto websites to get their information. All his announcements and various news releases on various issues will be put up on the site.
Minister Smith said that the site will be constantly updated with new information, which is particularly relevant to Cavan and Monaghan and his own political work. "IT and technology generally is now a massive part of our every day lives," he said.
The Minister finds having his office located at his home very convenient and with his irregular hours, he often goes into the office late at night or can be found working there, extremely early in the morning prior to departure on Department or constituency business. It also affords a readily accessible opportunity to catch up on constituency work at the weekends.
The two young men responsible for transforming the Minister's website are Tomas Brides from Cavan Town and Darren McEntee from Ballyhaise and they are operating under the company name of Irish Web Developers.
Tomas Brides said the Minister's new site will now be much easier for people to navigate and it can be updated with greater ease. News and articles can be put on it regularly and the Minister can also add to his photograph albums.
Tomas said that business was going very well and they were currently helping a lot of companies with the internet presence. "We are building fresh looking websites and marketing businesses online all around the county and indeed all over Ireland," he said.
People are now enjoying the benefits of the internet and how it can assist their businesses to grow.
Darren McEntee explained that he works in the web development area and he was glad to report that he had a lot of work on his books at present. He said more and more companies were realising that a web presence is a good online marketing tool, as opposed to a front end shop. It helps to get additional products sold.
"Companies should look to have an online presence as a means to make money by getting their image out there and known by a wider audience," he advised.
Tomas Brides said that the first place people go now to find a business is on Google. "As far as the younger generation are concerned, if you are not listed on Google, you don't exist as a business. I would advise all businesses to get themselves online with a professional presence," he suggested.
The lads website address is www.irishwebdevelopers.ie. And to check out Minister Smith's new website, visit: www.brendansmith.ie.
