New Year's Day tragedy in Virginia

The first road fatality of the year took place in County Cavan and the Virginia community was shocked to waken on New Year's Day morning to learn of the tragedy. Gary Morgan (22) from Rahardrum, Virginia, died shortly after 2am Sunday morning, when the car he was driving went out of control on the N3 at the edge of Virginia and crashed into a bridge wall.
