Squads Start Campaign

Last week the two Cavan squads of under 12 and under 14 players started their Inter - League campaigns

When on Saturday last Ballyjamesduff new box park pitch played host to the Cavan U12 Emerging Talent squad v DDSL which just happens to the best League in the country, so the breffni boys knew they were in for a hard game and it turned out to be a hard fought test for the Cavan youngsters which concluded with the Dublin team turning in a first class performance, The Cavan lads in their first game playing together did themselves proud and it will be a learning curve for all involved, Cavan had some good performances from Louis Coleman and Michael Smyth in Defence also from Ian Telford in goal, what the players can take from this game is that they are still learning and the games will get more on a level par in the future.
