Suddenly & peacefully in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband John & sons Benny & Pat. Sadly missed by her family Mary (Hanrahan), Cavan, Sean, Drumreilly, Andy, Newtowngore, Ellie (McConnell), Doogra, Emmie (O'Reilly), Buttlersbridge, Chrissie (Ivers), Cavan, Joe, Boston, Michael, London, Kathleen (Scholl), Alaska, Paul, Doogra & Noel, Carrigallen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law ,nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours & many friends.

Reposing at Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan (eircode H12RF78) tomorrow, Saturday, from 4pm until 6pm for family,neighbours & close friends & on Sunday from 10am until 12 noon, for family only. In accordance with public health & government guidelines, all social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Removal on Sunday via Killashandra & Doogarry to arrive at St Dallan's Church, Kildallan, for Funeral Mass at 1pm, restricted to 25 people, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The family appreciates your understanding, sympathy and support at this time.

Deborah Violet Faulkner (née Bailey)

Lisanymore, Lisgrey, Virginia, Cavan

In her 91st year. Peacefully at home in the care of her family. Predeceased by her husband, John and granddaughter Dayna. Sadly missed by her loving family Violet, John, Cynthia and Averil; daughter-in-law Norma, sons-in-law Albert, Toddy and John, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her family home (for family, neighbours and close friends), adhering to Government COVID-19 guidelines. Removal from her home on Sunday, 8th November, to arrive to Billis Church of Ireland for 2pm Service. Funeral and cremation strictly private to family only. Those who are unable to attend the funeral due to current restrictions are welcome to pay their respects along the route

COOGAN Dermot Charles (formerly of Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan) 5th November 2020, peacefully in the exceptional care of staff at the Gillis Memory Centre, Armagh. Wonderful and adoring father to Caryn, Odelle, Sonya and Janet. Sadly missed by the mother of his daughters Janette, grandchildren Luke and Grace, sons-in-law Christopher and Luis, his sisters Gaye, Sheelagh and Vanessa, brothers Eamon and Kieran, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Esther, his brothers Jackie and Desmond, his sister Maresa and cherished son-in-law Keith.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the Gillis Memory Centre staff for all their kindness and care.

The death has occurred of Gerry (Joseph) Gartlan, 77, Cloughvalley, Carrickmacross, 5th November 2020. Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his beloved family. Predeceased by his infant son Damian, his parents Joseph and Margaret and his sister Mairead. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife May, sons Jim, Gerard and Anthony, his daughters Anita and Sharon, son-in-law Damian, Jim's partner Fiona, his adored grandchildren Leighéann, Sophie, Cian, Melissa, Jessica, Arron and Shauna, his stepmother Lily, his brothers Sean, Tony and Fintan and sisters Roisín, Anne, Mary, Sinéad, Eilish and Orla, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

John (Johnny) McNaughton

Cortannell, Ballybay, Monaghan

The death has occurred of John (Johnny) McNaughton, Cortannell, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan, Friday November 6th, peacefully, at his residence. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family; his brother James, sisters Bridie, Maureen, Eileen and Philomena, extended family neighbours and friends.

May Johnny’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace

Johnny’s funeral cortège will travel from his late residence on Monday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Carrickatee, for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Johnny’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family (limited to 25).

Peter Soraghan

Derrygasson Lower, Emyvale, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Peter Soraghan, Derrygasson Lower, Emyvale, Co Monaghan, Friday 6th, of November. Pre-deceased by his brothers Mick & Jimmy and sisters Annie & Rose.

Sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Moira, his sister Peggy (Knocknagrave), brothers in law George & Tom, nieces, nephews, family, neighbours and friends.

Peter's remains will arrive at Church of The Sacred Heart, Carrickroe, Sunday morning at 9.20am for funeral Mass at 9.30am. Please note, Peter's funeral cortège will travel via Deragola.

Due to HSE guidelines, Peter's wake and funeral Mass will be private.
