Margaret (Margie) Cornyn (née Forde)

Kilduff, Dowra, Cavan, N41 X3K4 / Dowra, Leitrim

Following a long illness, in the care of and surrounded by her devoted and loving family. Predeceased by her husband Gregory and father Thomas Hugh Forde (RIP). She will be sadly missed by her beloved daughters Mairead and Ailish, her sons Padraig and Thomas, her mother Teresa, sisters Mary Wynne, Carmel Rinn, Teresa Devitt, brothers Sean, Tomas and Damian, uncle Oliver McGrail, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at her home, Thursday 19th November, from 2pm to 8pm for family, neighbours and close friends. Removal from her residence to St Colmcille’s Church, Newbridge, arriving at 12 noon on Friday for Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Doobally Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired to the Irish Cancer Society Palliative Care Team in association with North West Hospice.

Seamus Dooley

Essexford, Killanny, Monaghan

Yonkers, New York and formerly of Essexford, Killanny, Co Monaghan, in the care of St John's Hospital, Yonkers.

Predeceased by his wife Virginia (Ginny), and parents Patrick and Cait. Much loved father of Amanda, son-in-law, Mike, and a devoted grandfather to Declan and Rohnan.

He will be greatly missed by his siblings: Mary, Peadar, Padraig, Mairead, Sean, Thomas, Cait, Pauline, Áine, Terence; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; his GAA family; and his very wide circle of friends.

Annareagh, Glaslough, Monaghan

Peacefully in the loving care of his family. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen. Sadly missed by his children Yvonne, Patrick, Cormac and Phelim (Junior), grandchildren, daughter in law and Cormac's partner, brother-in-law Aidan, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Kathleen (Katie) O'Daly

22 Main St., Ballybay, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Kathleen (Katie) O'Daly, late of no. 22 Main St. Ballybay, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Darkley, Shercock, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, November 17th, peacefully, in the tender loving care of the management and staff of St. Anne’s Nursing Home, Ballybay, in her 103rd year. Katie, predeceased by her husband Hugh. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sisters in law Anna and Maura, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May Katie’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

Katie’s funeral cortège will travel from Ward's Funeral Home, Ballybay, on Friday morning at 10.30am, proceeding on foot to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballybay, for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrickatee. Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Katie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family (limited to 25). Liam Rooney

Corracloughan, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Liam Rooney, Corracloughan, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital, Wednesday November 18th, 2020. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Pauline, daughters Helen and Aileen, son Aidan, grandchildren, brother Frankie, sister in-law Mary, nieces, nephew, extended family, friends and all in Cuan Mhuire, Galway.

In line with guidelines issued by The Government and The HSE, Liam’s wake, funeral Mass and burial will be strictly private to family (limited to 25).

Removal on Saturday, 21st November, from his home at 11.30am traveling via Main Street and York Street, arriving for a private funeral mass at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery.
