Vincent Pilkington

New Line, Cootehill, Cavan

Vincent Pilkington, New Line, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. November 25th 2020 peacefully at The Mater Hospital, Dublin. (World record holder and member of the Guinness Book of Records). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family, his loving wife Teresa, son Andrew, daughter Eileen, brothers, sisters, Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

Due to Government and HSE restrictions Vincent's Funeral Mass and burial will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends, restricted to 25 people.

Funeral cortege leaving Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill on Saturday morning at 11.30am on foot via Bridget St. on to Church St., passing his home on New Line on to Station Road to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Cootehill for 12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Cootehill.

Peggy (Margaret) Timmins (née Reilly)

Garryross, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred, peacefully, of Peggy Timmins, Garryross, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Andy and Madge and her brother Patrick. Much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbour and friend. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Barney, her children Lorraine, Sean, Brendan and Sharon, her sister Eileen, her brother Michael, her adored grandchildren Rachael, Heather, Evan, Faye and Grace, sons-in-law Mark and Ronan, her nieces Laurna and Lisa, her nephew Andrew, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Rest In Peace.

Peggy's Funeral cortège will travel from Matthew's Funeral Home, Virginia, via her home at Garryross, to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Castlerahan ,for 12 o'clock Funeral Mass on Saturday. Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings a private family funeral will take place with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. As a mark of respect, friends and neighbours are very welcome to line that route in a socially distanced and safe manner.

Peggy's family would like to acknowledge the wonderful and amazing work and the dedication of all who looked after her. In particular, Cavan/ Monaghan Palliative Care, the Public Health Nurses in Ballyjamesduff, Dr. Gilsenan, Alisha (Night Nurse), her carers, The Oncology Unit and all the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Your care, support and attention will never be forgotten.

Mary Campbell (née McCooey)

Clontycasta, Tydavnet, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Mary Campbell (nee McCooey), Clontycasta, Tydavnet, Co Monaghan, Thursday 26th November. Predeceased by her husband Patrick and son Stephen.

May She Rest in Peace.

Deeply regretted by her children Sean, Joseph, Catherine, Marguerite, Patrick, Michael & Peter, her sister Doreen and brothers, Joe, Liam & Paul, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Mary's remains will leave the family home at 10.30am on Saturday, 28th November, to arrive at St Dympna's Church, Tydavnet, for 11 o'clock funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mary's funeral mass can be viewed on 'Tydavnet Parish RC Churches' Facebook page.

In accordance with government guidelines and in the interest of public health, Mary's house, funeral and burial will be private. Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so as Mary's funeral cortège travels from the family home to the church (please adhere to social distancing guidelines).

Enid Lester (née Harper)

Lisgorran, Ballybay, Monaghan

Enid Lester (nee Harper), Lisgorran, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan. Thursday, November 26th 2020, beloved wife of the late Jack and dear mother of Joan, John, Iris and the late Hilda. Remembered with love by her daughters, son, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service in Monaghan Methodist Church, Dawson Street on Saturday 28th at 2pm followed by burial in First Ballybay Presbyterian Churchyard. The death has occurred of Kathleen McCabe (nee McGrory), Drumshevra, Scotstown, Co. Monaghan, Thursday 26th November, peacefully, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Lovingly remembered by her husband PJ, children, Loraina, Catherina & Mark, sons in law, Stephen & Bernard and daughter in law, Pauline. The death has occurred of Thomas McGahon, 49 Cloughvalley, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda Thursday, 26th November 2020. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Martin and Oliver, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect of Government Guidelines for Level 5, Thomas’ funeral and burial will be celebrated privately with his family. Thomas’ funeral cortège will travel from Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross on Saturday morning to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross.
