Seamus Brady, St Ronan’s Villas, Dromiskin and formerly of Arva,Co Cavan. 29th December 2020. Peacefully at home. Seamus, son of the late Susan and Bernard beloved husband of Gloria (née Mc Aleer), and brother of Brian and Noel. Seamus will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, brothers, father in law Edward, brothers in law Adrian, Alan and Gary sisters in law Valerie, Linda, Samantha, Diamond, and Cheryl, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to Level 5 restrictions Seamus’s funeral will take place privately on Thursday (New Year's Eve) in St Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown at 11am, for 10 family members only, followed by private cremation. The Mass can be viewed on www.chirchservices.tv/haggardstown

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as Seamus’s cortège leaves his home on way to the church. Please keep your social distance. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Kate and brother Tom. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, devoted wife Carmel, beloved daughters Grace, Ann and Theresa, sister Maureen, sons-in-law Matt, Anthony and Lucas, cherished grandchildren Charlie, Olivia, Ciara, Daniel, Ailish and Conor. Sadly missed by nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Retired staff, Cavan County Council. Suddenly, at Cavan General Hospital, beloved brother, uncle and brother in law, son of the late Michael and Ellen and predeceased by his brothers Patrick and Michael. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving brothers, Edward (Ned), (Forest Park, Virginia). Brian (Swellan,Cavan Town) and Paul, (Forest Park, Virginia), Sisters in law, Winnie and Angela, and his adored nieces and nephews, relatives, his wonderful neighbours and many friends and former work colleagues.

In strict compliance and accordance with current government guidelines on public gatherings, a private family only funeral mass will take place on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Matthew's Church, Maghera. Followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Owen's funeral cortege will leave his home on Wednesday at 11.30am, for those who wish to show their support along the route, you are asked to do so in a socially distant and safe manner. Owen's family wish to express their appreciation for your understanding and support at this difficult time.

The death has occurred of Graham Strutt, Lugnagon, Newtowngore, Co. Leitrim. 29th December 2020 at Cavan General Hospital. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Denise, sons Gregory and Richard, daughters Pippa (New Zealand) and Alison (United Kingdom), relatives and friends.

Removal from Lawlor’s Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet H14 R583 on Thursday (New Year’s Eve) at 1.30pm to arrive at Lakeland Crematorium, Cavan for Funeral Service at 2pm followed by cremation. To follow Government guidelines, house and service are private. Sheila (Julie Mary) Keenan (née O'Mullane)

The death has occurred of Sheila (Julie Mary) Keenan (nee O’Mullane), Creeve, Latton, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Kanturk, Co. Cork, in her 96th year. Peacefully, at the residence of her daughter Mary and John Hamilton, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Michael, baby son Michael Anthony, daughter Sheila, grandson Declan, granddaughter Julie Catherine, great-grandsons Jordan, Niall and Baby O’Shea, sons-in-law Paul Merrett and Matt Gorman.

Sheila, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her heartbroken family, daughters Mary Hamilton (Carnaveigh), Jo Merrett (England), Rosaleen Gorman (Clontibret), Carmel Kilduff (Naas) and Kathleen Mc Eneaney (Cremartin), son Pete (Creeve), sons in-law John, Mike, Keith and P.J, daughter in-law Patrica, her thirty two cherished grandchildren and forty eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Sheila’s funeral cortège will travel from her daughter's residence, Mary and John Hamilton (Carnaveigh), on Thursday morning to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Carrickatee (via her late residence in Creeve) for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Owen Murphy, peacefully at the home of Jim and Eileen Murphy, Navan.

Predeceased by his parents Owen and Mary, his brother Donald and sister Helen Foley.

Owen's funeral cortege will travel from his brother Jim's residence at Clonardran, Garlow Cross, Navan on Thursday (31/12/2020) at 9 a.m., pausing briefly at Castleshane, to arrive at St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral Mass at 11 a.m., followed by burial in St. Joseph's Calvary Cemetery, Latlurcan.
