Owen Lynch

Aughacashel, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

The death has occurred peacefully of Owen Lynch, Aughacashel, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, at Cavan General Hospital on March 14th 2021. Predeceased by his wife Brigid. Deeply regretted by his loving sons Gene and Barry, his daughters Mairead and Martina, his brother and his sisters Mary (England), Kathleen (England), Tom (Cormaddyduff), Peg (Oldcastle), Sheilia (Monaghan) and Dympna (Mullingar), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his adored grandchildren Saoirse, Caoimhe, Roishe, David, Mark, Ruth, Adam, Conor and Oisín, his sister in law Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Removal on Tuesday from his home in Aughacashel arriving to St. Patrick's Church, Lurgan for 2 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Old Cemetery, Oldcastle Road, Ballyjamesduff. Funeral Mass will be streamed live on:

In compliance with Government & HSE guidelines regarding funerals, Owen's Funeral Mass and burial will be private to his immediate family, limited to 10 persons in the church. The family thank you for your sympathy, support and understanding at this time.

2 Deerpark, Cavan Road, Virginia, Cavan / Crosserlough, Cavan

Kathleen Magee, 2 Deerpark, Cavan Road, Virginia and formerly of Crosserlough, Sunday March 14th (peacefully) at the residence of her nephew Gerry (and Tara) Fitzsimons, Murmod, Virginia. Pre-deceased by her husband Alex, brother Patsy, brothers-in law Benny & Pat and sister-in-law Bríd. Deeply regretted by her sisters Monica Fitzsimons (Murmod) and Clare O'Dowd (Aughnaskea, Mountnugent), nephews and nieces; Gerry, Thomas, Norbert, Carmel (Fitzsimons) and Finbar Patricia, Denise, Michael (Rudden), grandnephews and grandnieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

In line with the current Government and HSE guidelines, Kathleen's Funeral will be private to family. Removal on Tuesday morning from Gerry & Tara's residence to Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Crosserlough.

Dympna McKenna

Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary, Cavan Town, Cavan / Inchicore, Dublin

Sr. Dympna Mc Kenna, Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary, Cavan & formerly Golden Bridge House, Tyrconnell Rd, Inchicore, Dublin & on mission in Nigeria, Kenya, England & Ireland, March 14th, 2021, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at College View Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her parents Agnes & Peter, her brothers, Fr. Willie & Seamus & sisters Maureen, Kathleen, Vera, Peggy & Una.

Sr. Dympna will be very sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews, her extended family, the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary, all her other relatives & friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Due to HSE & government restrictions, Sr. Dympna's Funeral Mass & burial will be private to family & the Holy Rosary Sisters & limited to 10 people. Funeral Mass will be concelebrated on Tuesday morning at 11am in The Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, followed by burial in the convent plot in Cullies Cemetery. Una Maguire (née Rooney)

1 Carn Gardens, Newtownbutler Road, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Una Maguire (Nee Rooney) No 1 Carn Gardens, Newtownbutler Road, Clones, Co.Monaghan peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Sunday 14th March 2021. Predeceased by her husband Tommy, brother Brendan (Scotland) and sister Phil (Dublin). Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Ann Clerkin (Gerard), Truagh Emyvale, son Kevin (Kashia), Bray Co. Wicklow, grandchildren Niamh, Shane, Daragh, Rory, Ania and Adam, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

House Private.

Removal of the deceased from Cavan General Hospital at 2:15pm on Monday 15th March. Funeral cortege will travel via Clontivrin and her residence on the Newtownbutler Road, Clones.To arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Clones at 3:00pm for requiem Mass. Followed by interment in Mount St.Oliver's Cemetery, Clones. Funeral Mass will be streamed live on the following link: https://www.churchservices.tv/sacredheartclones

Due to level 5 restrictions numbers are restricted to 10 people (family only). Those who wish to pass on their condolences may do so along the route to the church and cemetery adhering to social distancing at all times.
