Eugene Maguire

Drummersee, Swanlinbar, Cavan

Suddenly, in London. Son of the late Francis and Ellen, brother of the late Noel, Mary, Bridie, and Eileen.

MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Eugene's remains will arrive, via Drummersee, to Saint Mary's Church, Swanlinbar, for 10am Funeral Mass on Saturday, 17th April 2021, with burial in Killaduff Cemetery.

Due to Government & HSE guidelines, Eugene's Mass and burial will be private to family only.

Those who wish to show their support along the route are asked to do so by social distancing in a safe manner.

Eugene's family wish to express their appreciation for your understanding at this difficult time.

Sean Tierney

Coroneary, Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Sean Tierney, Coroneary, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, 14th April 2021.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Miriam, daughters Diane (Vancouver, Canada) and Pamela, sisters Angela, Maura, Helen, Kathleen, Geraldine and Caroline, brother Charles and son in law Garrett. Sadly missed by brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral mass will take place for family in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Sean's Funeral Mass will be available to view online at 10am on Saturday morning, 17th April on the following links;

Sean's funeral cortège will begin from Muff Chapel, travelling via Lower Main Street, Main Street, Church Street and Hall Street, Kingscourt, to the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Friday evening from 6.20pm approximately. Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line that route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.

Roisín Webber

Corglass, Crubany, Cavan Town, Cavan

Roisín Webber, Corglass, Crubany, Cavan, Tuesday , April 13th 2021, suddenly. Sister of the late Fiona Bergin, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois.Much loved daughter of Margaret & Brian Webber, Corglass. Roisín will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken parents, her daughter Isabella, sister Alison (Leggett), brothers-in-law Adrian Leggett & Brian Bergin, nephews Matthew, Ben & Daniel, nieces Laura & Natalia, her good friend Pat, all her extended family & her many good friends.

May she rest in peace.

Due to current restrictions, Roisín's reposing, Funeral Mass & burial will be private to family only.

Roisín's funeral cortege will leave the family home in Corglass on Friday morning at 11.30 & travel to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cullies Cemetery.

Those standing along the route to pay their final respects to Roisín are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines & keep each other safe. The Webber family would like to thank you all for your cooperation & understanding at this difficult time.

Frank Duffy

Corlatt House, Shantonagh, Latton, Monaghan

Peacefully in Drumbear Nursing Home, Monaghan. Beloved husband of Mary (formerly O'Neill, Follum,Roslea). Pre-deceased by his Mother, Father and siblings. Sadly missed by the O'Neill Family Follum, Roslea, cousin Paddy Duffy and his nieces Yasmin, Marese and Louise.

Reposing at Paul Mohan’s Rest Room until removal on Friday morning at 9.45am, to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Bawn, Co. Monaghan for 11.00 o’clock funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so as the funeral cortege travels to the chapel on Friday morning, via Ballybay, Lough Egish, Shantonagh Post Office, Corlatt House and onwards to Bawn. Mae Flanagan (née Brennan)

'Eureka', Ard Ross Avenue, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Mae Flanagan (née Brennan). 'Eureka', Ard Ross Avenue, Carrickmacross. 14th April 2021. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, her parents Patrick & Maud, her sister Joan and her brother Fran. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved daughter Andrea (Duff), her son-in-law Paul, her nieces, nephews, godchildren, sisters-in-law Dympna & Philomena, cousins, relatives, friends & neighbours.

In accordance with current guidelines Mae's Funeral Mass will take place privately, for family only (limited to 10), in St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, on Saturday, 17th April, at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross.
