Gardaí investigate Cavan break-in

An appeal for information has been launched.

Gardaí are investigating a break-in at a house outside Arva on Tuesday.

The incident took place at around 8.15pm at a house in the Forthill area, on the Ballinagh road out of the town.

Three men are believed to have been involved and it’s understood they left the scene in a black jeep.

Gardaí say no better description of the vehicle is available but they say it travelled in the direction of Arva.

They have appealed for anyone with information to get in contact.
