Michael (Mick) McEntee

Achill, Mayo / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

McEntee, Michael (Mick), Slievemore, Achill Co. Mayo and late of Carricmacross, Co. Monaghan. 3rd July 2026.

Predeceased by his mother Una McEntee nee Smyth.

Mick will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughters Grace and Ava, Father Tom, stepson Liam and family, brothers Ian (Isabella), Patrick, Kevin(Lindsey), sisters Adrienne (Art), Marguerite (Johnny), nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Reposing at Sweeneys funeral home Achill Sound, Co. Mayo (F28 HN81) on Monday from 5.00pm with removal at 6.30pm to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Dookinella, Achill arriving at 7.00pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11.30am followed by burial in Slievemore, Cemetery.

Seamus Morrow

Clerkin Funeral Directors regret to announce that the death has occurred of Seamus Morrow, Killcorn, Smithboro, Co. Monaghan on Sunday the 5th of July peacefully surrounded by his heartbroken family at home, after a short illness.

Seamus is predeceased by his parents Hugh and Brigid.

Seamus will be forever loved and remembered by his devastated family, his loving wife Mary, his devoted children, daughter Hannah (James Mc Grath) son James (Michaela Bonner), his treasured grandkids Sadie and Bobby, his three devoted sisters Una Brady, Pauline Sherry, Ann Trappe, brothers and sisters- in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and a very large circle of friends.

Seamus will repose at his own home (H18KP71) on Monday (6th)and Tuesday (7th) from 4pm till 9pm on both days

Family Home is strictly private outside wake times please, to give the family the time and respect to spend with Seamus.

Please note there is a one way system in operation. Entrance via Mullindava and exit via Rellan Rd /Selloo

Seamus's funeral procession will arrive to St. Tierney's Church, Roslea on Wednesday morning for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Francie Treanor. Mullinary, Carrickmacross. 5th July 2026, in his 97th year. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Mary's Nursing Home, Castleblayney.

Predeceased by his wife Patricia, his parents Patrick & Catherine (Katie), his sister Kathleen and his brother-in-law Peter Woods.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; Patrick (Jody), Domnic (Louisa), Mary (Dermot), Bríd (Peter) & Sarah (William), his much-loved grandchildren; Lauren, Garrett, Robert, Orla (Blake), Lena, Dearbhla, Patricia & Catherine, his sisters-in-law Ann Slevin & Peggy McCloskey, his nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Francie will repose at his son, Patrick's home, 3, Crann Nua, Carrickmacross, A81 H003, on Monday, 6th July, from 4pm until 8pm & on Tuesday, 7th July, from 4pm until 8pm.

Francie's funeral cortège will leave Patrick's home on Wednesday, 8th July, proceeding on foot via Mullinary, the Convent Hill & Main Street, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, via donation box c/o Lonergan Funeral Directors to St. Mary's Nursing Home, Patient Comfort Fund.
