Patricia Smyth

The death has occured of Patricia Smyth (nee Black), Clossagh beg, Rockcorry, Monaghan on the 24th July 2026 at Cavan general hospital, peacefully,surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Packie & Eileen.

Sadly missed by her devoted husband and soulmate Harry, her daughters Aileen (Michael), Eimear (Gerard), Ciara (Shannon) and her son Enda (Kerrie). Her beloved grandchildren Caitlyn, Ryan, Aibhinn, Ben, Donnacha, Saoirse, Danny and Harry. Her brothers Peadar, Kieran, and Desmond, her sister Carmel, her brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews and her wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace

Patricia will repose at her home (Eircode H18YR22) on Saturday and Sunday from 4pm until 8pm. House private at all other times.

Patricia's funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 12 noon in Saint Mary's Church, Latton followed by private cremation.

(Christopher) Mark Leslie

Dun Laoghaire, Dublin / Glaslough, Monaghan

The death has occurred of (Christopher) Mark Leslie (1952-2026), Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, and Glaslough, Co. Monaghan on July 24. At home suddenly after a long illness borne with remarkable courage and dignity. Beloved father of Luke and Leah; cherished brother of Sean, Antonia, Wendy, Samantha and Camilla; and son of the late Agnes Bernelle and Desmond Leslie.

Mark will be deeply missed by his children, his former wife Cliona Manahan, his partner Ana Dolan, his much-loved cousins Leonie Finn, Tarka King and Ivan Mulcahy, his nephews and nieces, including Cian, Heather, Brian, David, Lynn, Jane, Lola and Paolo, and his great-niece and great-nephew, Ruby Rose and Cóilín.

He will also be fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law Donal and Rowan Manahan, his sisters-in-law Marie and Nicol, and was predeceased by his sister-in-law Catherine. He is remembered with love by his lifelong friends Stephen Greenberg, Roger Willbourn, Steven Dizard, and Douglas Murray, as well as by his extended family, his exceptional neighbours and a wide circle of supportive friends.

The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Dermatology and Neurology teams at St. Vincent's University Hospital, and to the staff of Sheehan Medical Practice, for the compassionate care and support they gave Mark over many years.

The death has occurred of John (Sean) McCabe, 24th July 2026.

Late of 11 Baronscourt Road, Carryduff, BT8 8BQ formerly of Cortagher, Roslea, Co Fermanagh.

Beloved husband of Lorraine, devoted father of Gary and Darren, adored father-in-law of Fiona and Clare, cherished grandfather of Rose, Annie, Florence, Hugo, Zara, Chloe, Sophie and Harry. Dear brother of Kathleen, Bridie, Eileen, Tom, Norah, Yvonne and Luke. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Teresa, brothers Frank and Hugh and sisters Teresa and Caroline RIP.

Sean is reposing at his late residence, those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to call on Sunday 26th July between 2pm and 8pm.

Sean’s remains will leave his late residence on Monday 27th July at 10.30am to arrive at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Carryduff , BT8 8EX for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Paddy (Patrick) Conlon, New Jersey, USA. Formerly of 9 Earlsvale Rd, Cavan. Peacefully on Thursday 16th April 2026 in the loving care of his family and staff in Jersey Shore University Medical Centre, New Jersey.

Predeceased by his Mother Winnie and his Father Paddy.Cherished husband to Mary Kay, and beloved father to Megan. He will be deeply missed also by his son in law Les, and grandson Abel.

Paddy will be sadly missed by his brother Ger (Linda), and sisters Mary (Patsy), Phil (Joe), Bernie (Sam), Marty, Freda (Patrick), and Katie (Michael), his many nieces, nephews, cousins, his extended American family, and many friends.

Beloved by all who knew him, may his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Lorraine Drumm, Mountnugent, Co. Cavan, passed away peacefully on 17th July 2026. Predeceased by her beloved mother, Nora, Uncle Brian, Auntie Eleanor and cousin David. Lorraine will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken father Thomas, her brothers; Thomas and JP, her sisters; Margaret, Ann and Nora, brothers in laws; Tommy and Derek, sisters in laws; Zanita and Stephanie, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, her very good circle of friends, her extended family and neighbours.

Devoted mother to Eugene (Niamh) and Liam (Erica) and loving Grandmother to Luke. Pre-Deceased by her husband Jim, twin sons James and Oliver, parents Patsy and Mary Ellen Dolan and brother Phelim. Sorely missed by her sisters Mary, Kay, Christine, Eileen, brothers-in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and her many friends and neighbours.
