Enquiries are “ongoing”, according to gardaí following the discovery of man’s body at a house in Ballyjamesduff at the weekend, which was subsequently cordoned off for technical examination.
Gardaí confirmed they are investigating “all of the circumstances” surrounding the discovery of the body of a man age in his 60s at a residential property in the Kilmore estate on Saturday, August 15.
The body was subsequently transferred to the mortuary at Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan, where a post-mortem examination was carried out by the State Pathologist on Monday morning, August 17.
However, Gardaí say the results of that examination are “not being released for operational reasons”.
The Coroner has been notified and a spokesperson informed that “enquiries are ongoing”.
