Kathleen Cullivan (née Byers), Enagh, Beglieve, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 26th August 2026 peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Fairlawn’s Nursing Home, Bailieborough after a long illness bravely bourne. Predeceased by her parents Brigid and James, her brothers and sisters.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband John (Johnny), daughters Anne (John), Hilda (Keith) and Rosemary (Paddy), son Padraig (Libbie), sisters Daisy, Agnes and Nan, brother Willie, grandchildren Niamh, Shane, Enda, Lauren, Philip, Orla, Barry, Vala and John, great grandchildren Fiadh and Ruadh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Friday evening 28th August from 5pm – 8pm. Removal from her residence on Saturday at 12:45am to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Knockbride West (Tunnyduff) A82 W271 for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

With great sadness we annouce the passing of Breda (Bridget) Chambers (nee Farrelly) Scottsdale, Arizona and formerly Corryrorke, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, peacefully after a long illness on August 22nd, 2026.

Predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Michael Chambers (Quilty, Co. Clare), and her parents JP and Betty, and her baby brother Paul.

She will be deeply missed by her son Shane (Texas), daughter Tara (New York), her sister Lily (New York), and her brothers John and Owen (Mullagh), her daughter-in-law Brooke, grandchildren Colin and Brynn, nephews Ronan, Donal, John, Gary and Shane, and her many friends in America and Ireland.

Bernard Greene

GREENE, Bernard (Lucan South, Co. Dublin and formerly of Belturbet, Co. Cavan and ex School teacher Glasnevin, Dublin 11) August 25th., 2026. Passed away peacefully, in the comfort of his husband’s loving presence, surrounded by the exceptional care and compassion of the nurses from Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Predeceased by his beloved sisters Mary and Alice, his adoring brothers Seamus, John and Paddy, and his treasured parents John Joe and Alice (née O’Reilly). He is also reunited with his cherished niece Siobhán Greene and his dear former partner James (Jimmy) Keyes whose spirits have long awaited him with love. Bernard now joins them in a reunion of souls that transcends time and space.

He will be deeply missed by his loving husband Noel Kilduff, devoted brother-in-law Kevin Kilduff, cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and relatives.

Bernard lived with quiet strength and boundless love, touching the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

His absence leaves an irreplaceable void – a tender ache felt deeply by his husband, family, neighbours and the countless friends whose lives were brighter because of his warm heart and gentle spirit.

May his soul, so abundant in kindness and grace, rest in eternal peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Sunday evening (August 30th) between 4 pm and 6 pm. Requiem Mass will be held in his honour on Monday morning (August 31st) at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church, Lucan followed by his final journey to rest in Newcastle Cemetery.

The family would like to acknowledge the tender care provided by Bernard’s public district nurse Judith Fitzgerald and all of the home care team and carers of Caremark.

Robert Milock, 42 Annagh Park, Belturbet, Co. Cavan and formerly Elbląg, Poland, suddently at his residence on Monday 24th August 2026. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his dear mother Krystyna Miloch, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Robert will arrive at St. Mary's Church Staghall (H14 E045), for funeral mass at 11 am on Friday morning with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home(H12 RF78), Dublin Rd, Cavan tomorrow evening Thursday from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Remains arriving at St. Dallan's Church, Kildallan (H14 Y205) on Friday for funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Ballyconnell cemetery.
