Regional Bridge President visits Belturbet

Melissa Brady last week (October 28) visited Belturbet Bridge Club as the 2026/2027 President of the Contract Bridge Association of Ireland (CBAI) North Eastern Region.

Prior to the card playing commencing, Belturbet Bridge Club Captain Mary Baxter extended a warm and enthusiastic welcome to the regional head on behalf of all the local players.

The North Eastern Region covers approximately 43 clubs in counties Cavan, Monaghan, Meath, Louth and a small sector of North Dublin.

Melissa, a native of Loch Gowna, thanked the club for its exceptional hospitality and the lovely welcome extended to her, concluding her remarks by wishing the local club every continued success in its future endeavours.

Belturbet Bridge Club is held each Wednesday evening, commencing at 6.30pm sharp and concludes at 9.15pm, in the beautiful bridge room upstairs at the Seven Horse Shoes.

The club warmly welcomes new and returning players alike.

Anyone interested in joining or seeking further information is encouraged to get in touch with club officers Mary Baxter (Captain), Angela O’Reilly (Secretary), or Mary Maguire (Treasurer).
