Motorcyclist dies following road crash in Co Cork

A motorcyclist has died following a road crash in Co Cork.

Gardaí said the man, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene on the N71 at Caha Pass just before 3pm on Thursday.

They said the collision involved a car and a motorcycle.

“The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene,” they said.

“No other injuries were reported at the time.

“Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.
