Yellow fever breaks out in U21 semi

No less than 12 yellow cards were brandished againts Cavan players on Wednesday night as the U21s booked their place in the Ulster final. Referee Eugene McConnell also dished out a further two yellows to the Derry players at Brewster Park, Enniskillen. The remarkable thing was that with so many bookings no red cards were flashed. Derry mentor John Brennan voiced his displeasure at Cavan's eager approach to the tackle, interrupting Terry Hyland's post match interview with cries of "12 yellow cards" (see video). Here's a list of the Cavan lads who were booked - hardly the Dirty Dozen! Cavan yellow cards: Sexton, Lynch, Killian Brady, Leddy, Gilesnan, Moynagh, Tierney, Nolan, Morris, McLoughlin, Jack Brady, King. What we want to know is, is this a record for most number of yellows for one team in a match?
